Treatments/Total Skin Rejuvenation/LPG Endermologie in London

LPG Endermologie® is a natural and painless treatment which works to effectively stimulate skin cells in order to combat a range of concerns including firming the skin and reducing wrinkles.

LPG is a mechanical device which uses a negative pressure vacuum (suction) in combination with rolling and kneading movements provided by motorised rollers / flaps. The tissue is gently lifted, stimulated and mobilised. As a result, this improves tissue movement, lymphatic flow and tissue stiffness which in turn will encourage improvement of a variety of different concerns, including:

Targeting cellulite: Cellulite is a build-up of fat under the skin that presses against the connective tissue, giving the appearance of puckered, dimpled or lumpy skin. Although typically found on the thighs, buttocks and stomach, it can also appear on the breasts, lower abdomen, and upper arms. LPG has been found as an effective treatment for cellulite as it stimulates the skin and fatty tissue through its massaging patterns which in turn helps to release stubborn fatty tissue and encourage improved blood and lymphatic circulation. The stimulation can in turn help with weight loss as excess fat and water is released from cells.

Toning Sagging or lax skin: LPG is successful in toning lax or sagging skin through stimulating the skin. Using LPG promotes the production of collagen and significantly improves blood circulation which firms skin and tightens hard to tone areas of the body.

Toning the post-pregnancy body: When addressing the post-pregnancy body, LPG is extremely successful in aiding the return to a tighter and firmer appearance to the body. As a result of the variety of settings available, the LPG treatment effectively targets resistant areas of localised fat which are not respondent to physical exercise and changes in diet. Post pregnancy, combined with a good diet and effective exercise routine, LPG can be an extremely effective treatment to help you regain your pre-pregnancy body. LPG can also be used as an effective treatment during pregnancy, particularly on the legs to avoid ankle oedemas and ease legs during the period of pregnancy.

Smooth wrinkles: LPG works to effectively stimulate the skin encouraging increased collagen and elastin production which in turn will allow the skin to regain some volume lost over time which will in turn reverse some signs of ageing. The LPG reactivates the synthesis process of fibroblasts encouraging increased natural hyaluronic acid production as well as collagen and elastin, leading to hydrated and tighter skin.

Reduce double chin: A double chin can be caused by an accumulation of fat cells in the chin area, and as a result this, skin can sometimes sag and become lax as due to a reduction in collagen and elastin. LPG is effective in reducing a double chin due to its ability to stimulate fat cells and consequently release them from areas they have been stored. The massage further helps to contour the face, firming and tightening the skin leaving patients with an enhanced and rejuvenated complexion.

Improve complexion: LPG uses micro-pulsations over the entire surface of the face and neck to give the skin a real workout. This painless stimulation exfoliates the skin and oxygenates the tissues and stimulates microcirculation to create a more even complexion.

Tone & drain fluids: LPG can be used as a quick and effective option to sculpt your face and body. Prior to an important event, many people opt for an LPG treatment to sculpt and tone the body helping to achieve that flawless look. Additionally, by draining the excess fluid from the face you can achieve an effortless glow and plumped appearance.

Drain toxins from the skin: LPG stimulates the lymphatic system to improve the drainage of lactic acid and other inflammatory toxins from the body. By improving lymphatic drainage can create a stronger immune system, reduce fluid retention and swelling whilst enhancing the metabolism.

Recovery for athletes: LPG can be used before and after intensive training to effectively optimize athletic performance, accelerate recovery and aid healing following injury.

For best results, a different number of treatments will be recommended based on your individual goals and concerns. During your initial consultation one of our expert nurse practitioners we will be able to give a recommendation of how many treatments will be required.

LPG is a non-invasive treatment and remains very effective when compared to invasive treatments which treat the same concerns. It is also a natural treatment which “mechanises” the skin allowing a painless experience.

Results from LPG can be seen after the first session. As you continue your sessions, results will continuously improve. The first month of treatment is very important to trigger the process and encourage optimized results. Following this, monthly sessions are sufficient.

LPG treatment sessions can last anywhere between 10 – 60 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated.

During LPG treatment, the machine head is placed on the area being treated and this then begins to gently lift and mobilise tissue. During this massage routine, the natural collagen and elastin production in the skin is stimulated and stubborn fat cells are released.

LPG is a painless experience due to its massaging nature.

Treatment Overview

  • Designed to address a number of concerns including cellulite, double chin, wrinkles and sagging skin
  • Non-invasive and natural treatment
  • Consultation and treatment with highly trained nurse practitioner
  • Number of sessions will be determined during your initial consultation
  • Painless treatment option
  • Optimal results can be seen by combining treatment with a healthy lifestyle
  • Results last around 6 months after your first sessions

Results from LPG will usually last around 6 months. However, results and maintenance of results will ultimately depend on your lifestyle. In most cases, LPG is used to release stubborn fat and improve tissue stiffness as well as lymphatic flow. Therefore, if your lifestyle is not healthy, fat cells may gather more quickly, and results may not be as long lasting leading to further treatment being required.

The number of sessions required is based on your individual goals and concerns. As the results are not permanent, after your initial treatment further sessions will likely be required to ensure you maintain your desired results.

Following LPG, you may experience some localised bruising depending on the strength of the suction used. The areas treated may be slightly sore and there may be some redness, but this should ease shortly after treatment.

Anyone and everyone can benefit from LPG treatment. With a huge range of benefits available there really is a treatment option for everyone. For individuals who have had or are having cosmetic surgery, LPG is still suitable and in fact has many benefits. Prior to surgery, LPG can help to improve drainage and blood flow leading to less bruising and inflammation post op. After surgery, this will allow fluid retention to be eliminated in a safe and effective way.

At NEO Health Clinic, the cost for an LPG treatment depends on the treatment time and how many sessions are booked.  We have pricing options for 15, 30, 45 and 60 minute sessions. In addition discounts are available when booking six or 12 sessions. Full pricing options can be found on the Pricing page.
